Look at the Essence: When the Abstract Encounters the Form

Opening night Thu 9 Oct, 6 - 8 pm / Open Wed 8 - Sun 12 Oct, 11 am - 5.30 pm
---
Join us for the opening of Maria Peña and Lexi Lex's exhibition 'Look at the essence: When the Abstract Encounters the Form’.

It promises to delight both the eye and the inner self. Bringing together the figurative forms of Maria Peña and the abstract compositions of Lexi Lex, it creates a point of intersection where abstract imagery reflects the essence of human nature, the flow of inner emotions, and the vital currents of the earth’s elements.

The figurative, magical-realist portraits, meanwhile, explore the inseparable bond between human beings and nature. Together, the abstracts and portraits open up a new territory where identity dissolves into nature, transcending the geographical lands from which we come.
