Please join us for the opening of our annual Schoolhouse Studios residents exhibition on Thursday 13th of March from 6 - 8pm. 

Inspired by proppaNOW artist collective's directive to ‘go hard’, Schoolhouse is going hard in all directions! Our residents have channelled intensity through their chosen medium through explosive colours, dynamic movement, visceral textures, and concepts that challenge convention and demand attention. We have put it to our resident artists: what happens when our community tries to think limitlessly and what do we make when we are put under these constraints? How as artists can we egg each other on and challenge each other?

Drawing upon a diverse array of artistic voices and mediums from over twenty residents at Schoolhouse Studios, Go Hard includes painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video installation and performance artwork.
