Peter Barrett is a freelance journalist who specialises in writing about food, interesting people and unusual places. He has written for The Age, the Sunday Age and the(melbourne)magazine, where he worked as staff writer from 2004-2010 and continues to contribute. He has also been a regular contributor to the Age Good Food Guide, Cheap Eats, the Good Café Guide and the Good Shopping Guide and written for Text Pacific magazines including Disney Adventures, Beyond 50, Ford Talkback and What’s Hot On Video. When he’s not chasing stories Peter teaches journalism to TAFE students at RMIT’s Professional Writing and Editing course.
