Megan Davis creates images of altered realities through digital, traditional and alternative photographic processes. She challenges the notion that photography’s primary function is capturing a moment in time, rather it is about creating possible realities. These realities run the gamete from exploring the hidden meaning of ancient fairy tales to a study of post traumatic stress disorder projected unto broken furniture. Megan is involved in many creative endeavors, she writes, shoots and designs commercially. Megan Davis is from Kalamazoo, Michigan and has lived and worked in Melbourne for the last ten years.
